Much what I have written is equally applicable to this QUESTION.
No hassle, staff helped confirm time left on service pack and was also arranged for a suitable time.
Offered tea immediately on arrival then offered a lift into city centre which was ideal as I had to get a tram from their to Gogarburn for work. Service had no issues and friendly service team too.
There was a small oil stain left on one of my front carpet mats from a road test, but this was shampooed away once drawn to their attention.
Very efficient , professional : very attentive personnel and a car service that had a noticeable impact on how car is now running
Winter check......and the windscreen water was filled up? Otherwise would have been a 5.
When I arrived to collect my car I was told that the control run had failed and had to be re-run. The staff did give me options including keeping the courtesy car for longer. However was disruptive and meant an extra return journey to the garage.

Dropped car off before 8am to get MOT and winter wheels fitted. Text at 14:33 to say car was in workshop. In the showroom at circa 5pm was informed werent able to valet it unless I stayed for 40mins At 17:20 told had failed MOT and needed to be kept
Long wait at reception. Car went into shop at 2 PM, on arrival told car not ready until 5:30 due to software update. Not a problem but should have sent text so I could come back next day. Car not cleaned due to late finish. Service indicator not set.

My brake and accelerator pedals were slippy presumably as a result of polish spray liberally applied during valletting. My foot slipped off the accelerator pedal as I left your premises. Thanks goodness it wasn't the brake pedal

Unfortunately the member of staff who greeted us at reception was rather abrupt, I did not feel that he was as helpful as he could be, fortunately Jessica and other members of the team where extremely professional and pleasant - great assets.
Very satisfied with the overall service and staff approachability. One or two slight niggles including having to arrange it via BMW support in order to get the car in quicker and to obtain a courtesy car and not a full explanation of the fix at time.
I cannot praise Rory and his team at peter Vardy Edinburgh highly enough really sorted out the disgusting service from bmw corporate they are a credit to peter Vardy

I was very satisfied with my recent service and the car was returned having been cleaned and valeted. On its return I have had a small issue with the parking sensor coming on all the time which was not like that beforehand.

Went for an oil and micro filter change and brake fluid change and told that it would be about 1.5hrs so thought Id wait. Took over 3.5hrs but the team were apologetic and discounted the service as compensation for my time after I asked.

I was kept informed with the service process very easy from start to finish.
I was in Edinburgh for a short visit to family, yet my car was repaired and had a system update. All of this was done very quickly to accommodate my needs and I was kept informed throughout.
The work done was fine. I asked Jordan to keep me informed of progress during the day so that I could collect the car as soon as it was ready. He did that.There was one fairly amusing incident that I wish to recount, but don't have enough space.
The service was performed satisfactorily, within the time anticipated, and the car was given a complimentary wash and clean.
I was given the information that allowed me to make a major decision regarding my car.
Please make sure that the cost of changing the tire, which is covrered by insurance bought with BMW, charges to the insurance directly rather than request custormer to claim the charge to the insurance company.
This is the first occasion that we have cause to feel dissatisfied with the service. Happy for you to call and discuss.
Service reception was great and I was looked after. Car was done in good time. I did ask to have a minor squeal from the brakes looked at which they found nothing wrong with but it is still there. I am a technician to trade so know its nothing major.

The level of personal service at Peter Vardy, by the wonderful Ryan, was exceptional. He was brilliant at keeping me up to date with my car's progress, an excellent communicator with an easy polite manner. I was most impressed.
As above ...had an issue re free servicing that was supposed to be on my deal but wasnt showing on system ....service dept spoke to sales and it was sorted immediately
Service was extremely good, however £81 for a £25 pair of windscreen wipers on an MOT fail is ridiculous.

High price for little time and work
Really satisfied. I had an overly long wait for an inspection service (2hrs 45mins in total) in my opinion. I thought this is more like the time for a full service, hence lost a point. Still a nice place to spend a few hours.

Jess was attentive; she listened to my needs and understood what was required. Her communication was excellent too; offering a loan vehicle on the day to ease my day and cover the possibility of my car needing to stay on-site overnight.

The staff at Peter Vardy are always polite and helpful and they also provide a courtesy bus into Edinburgh, which is helpful, as we live far away from the city, so cannot go home when the car is in for a service.

My sales advisor Ryan was understanding of my situation and worked very hard to help get to a suitable outcome. Had it not been for him going over and above I would not be returning to BMW.
Great service however marked down slightly as I never got my car valeted when I returned to close out my MOT observation on re-test.
This was my monthly valet which always leaves my car like new
Very satisfied however someone switched the main lights from automatic (high is my default) to manual and I was unaware if this until other road users starting flashing their lights to alert me

Very good contact/updates over day. Price of repairs needed outlined to me by phone when asked. However I found the invoice I received very difficult to understand. Unable to understand breakdown of total into different repairs apparently completed.
Had to return to dealership to have tyre pressures corrected which was a 50 mile round trip
No matter what my car comes in for (MOT this time). Peter carry always seem to find a way of increasing the cost by £150 or more.Will need to take the car elsewhere in future.

I was very happy with the experience i received whilst my car was in for a service.
Car was completed in a very timely manner, Ryan took the time to walk me through what was happening with my car, updating me throughout and answering in full any questions I had.
My vehicle was attended to in a short timescale. To charge a sum of £10 to change a key fob battery however was outrageous and whilst this was removed without fuss when I pointed out this out, it is disappointing it had been added in the first place.

Service rep did not fully explain what my service involved. He didn't return a call and corresponded by text message. He also passed me off to someone else when I picked up the car. Not the experience I've come to expect from Peter Vardy BMW.

My car developed a problem with a tyre. I was due to travel a long distance within a couple of days. They were just great. Took my car in immediately, even though they were really busy, and had it ready for me the following afternoon.

Jessica was very forthcoming. My BMW didn't accelerate at all any more. Jessica helped to get it fixed within a day, inclusive getting a bulged tyre fixed.This process was quick, efficient and completed to a friendly and high standard!

I had a recurring rattle at the back of the car due to a faulty tailgate latch. I was advised that the fault may be covered under the warranty. I would have expected the reason for the fault was known before suggesting it may be chargeable.
